Rental Agreement

  • You are required to allow us to take a photocopy of your passport and another ID document.
  • Instructions will be provided for the proper use of the e-bike, as well as user information regarding electric assist technology and battery charging.
  • EMonsterBikes are maintained in a roadworthy condition, however, it is the responsibility of each customer to check the bike before operating about on any road.  
  • Undamaged condition means normal wear and tear, but does not include broken spokes, rims, bent rims, damaged frames, handlebars, seats or other parts from misuse and/or crashes. Damaged parts or components will be repaired/replaced. The customer agrees to pay regular shop rates and retail prices for components replaced.
  • In case of theft, the customer will be responsible for reimbursing EmonsterBikes rental agent for the original price of the e-bike(s), plus the cost of any accessories that were provided at the time of the bike rental.
  • To prevent theft, all our E-bikes will be provided with a lock, which you should be put to use every time you leave the bike unattended. The electric bike should be locked against an object that does not allow the bike to be lifted over or off the fixture.
  • Customer shall agree to return the bike in a clean, undamaged condition to avoid any additional fees due to repair, maintenance or replacement.
  • Modifying or exchanging original parts of the e-bike will be penalized and a fee will be charged on account of replacement parts required.   


I am aware that Electric biking and the rental of Electric biking equipment involves many risks, dangers and hazards including, but not limited to: mechanical failure of the equipment, loss of balance; difficulty or inability to control one’s speed and direction; variation or steepness in terrain; rapid or uncontrolled acceleration on hills and inclines; variation or changes in the riding surface including rocks, gravel, cliffs, trees, roots, tree stumps, streams and creeks; changing weather conditions; exposure to temperature extremes or inclement weather; collision with pedestrians, motor vehicles, and cyclists; including the failure on the part of the releasees to safeguard or protect me from the risks, dangers and hazards of electric biking as a result of my use of the equipment.
I am aware of the risks, dangers and hazards associated with electric biking and the rental of electric biking equipment and I freely accept and fully assume all such risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or loss resulting therefrom.


We cannot be held for your own illness, injury, or loss/damage of your personal belongings while using our electric bikes. You are responsible to assume insurance fees including medical cover, personal accident, loss of belongings. Unfortunately, as a company, we cannot provide insurance due to legislative regulations that apply for rental/ hired services for bikes. We do however, recommend the use of personal insurance companies that cover riders against theft and accidental damage. You will assume terms and conditions on your own terms. Safety Precautions 

  • All clients hiring electric bikes are expected to be able to cycle safely on public roads and be able to follow the Highway Code of Conduct in particular the rules for cyclists.
  • Helmet, lights, and cell phone holders are included in the rental agreement. The customer MUST wear a cycle helmet as a condition of hire. The helmet must obey relevant state laws for accredited safety.
  • Bikes are rented with battery charger on rentals for more than ONE day, but no spare batteries. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they understand the limitation of the bike, range display and travel within the relevant range. 
  • Customer should not and may not participate in any riding activities under the influence alcohol or drugs.


  • Customer is held responsible to transfer the agreed rental fee for the value of $________ . This amount is due every 7 days and paid in advance, starting from the date of the signed agreement. Bank transfers should be paid by the latest 8:00 pm on the due date.
  • Late fees: For every lates day past the due date, customers will incur in a late fee for the value of $10.00 per day. Please be advised that each person is responsible to keep track of their pay calendar and be aware of late fees. 
  • Please advise 1 week prior to returning e-bike in order to arrange pickup and release of responsibilities.

Failure to give this week of notice will result in a full-week rental payment fee. 

  • For purchase contracts, E-Monster bike is not held responsible for any maintenance work, or flat tires. A bike warranty will be issued given upon purchase for any faults that may be manufacture induced.
  • Flat Tires: E-Monster bikes come equipped with an anti-puncture system internal to the tire.

Please be advised that this does not mean you will not get a flat-tire, it is your responsibility to fix flat tires and ensure optimal bike conditions.  

  •  For rental contracts: a 6-week maintenance check will be conducted in order to ensure that e-bike conditions are optimal and that customer is meeting general requirements.
  • This maintenance check will be run by an E-Monster bike technician free of charge, failure to comply with the maintenance check will incur a cancellation of the contract 
  • Customer is responsible for the protection of electric parts of E-bike upon rain or wet conditions. 

By wrapping electric parts in plastic cling wrap you are protecting your bicycle from any damage due to exposure.
